Don't you just want to start it up the way it is and talk a lap around the block? I'll let you borrow my milk crate.

Wow, looking at Denny's graphic thing almost made me start looking for my Iron Butterfly album............groovy.
Bob, thanks for lightening that up. My camera is getting worse all the time, got to replace it or take it in to see what's up.
Brad: Yeah, the driveshaft will be 17 inches long, from the tip of the trans to the rear u joint. I've had shorter though, the one in my Sprite with the 289 Ford was about 9 inches. Too short, had hardly any flex at all.
Ken: Funny that you should mention the ride around the block. Every second Saturday, Fort Myers Downtown hosts a car cruise, like 400 cars go. Next one is June 9th. I was thinking about putting the T on a trailer and taking it, making it just able to be pushed into place. I thought people might enjoy seeing a work in progress. With the move coming up, I'll miss that one, but maybe the July one is possible. Hold onto that milk crate, might need it.

Peace Baby............now where did I leave my beads and nehru jacket?
Actually, I like it. Gonna make it my new screen saver.
Thanks Denny,

Don good luck on the move and may no love bumps damage the goods. I call them that because i just moved the in-laws about 10 months ago.
Your frame is looking so good even with out the body . I also think the milk crate and frame would work right now .

Beautiful, Don. Absolutely gorgeous. I guess we're all anxious to see the stance with the body in place now... Good luck with the move.Jim

Bobby: Thanks, I'm not looking forward to the move, but the end result will be better. More room and only on the 2nd floor, not the 3rd like now. (Bringing in groceries is lots of fun )
James: Thanks. It is a little low, in fact, Dan looked at it the other night and said "do you think it might be TOO low?" And this is coming from Mr "never had a stock height car in his life." The front of the frame is 6 inches from bottom of frame to the ground, and the rear is 7 inches. I wanted it low, and will just have to watch speedbumps and possums. In person the relationship between the frame and high engine make more sense. It sort of reminds me of The Winged Express altered drag car.........sort of.
BTW, done any more on your T? I've been watching.
Denny: Hey, I like that. Now I have two screensavers to alternate. Thanks bud.

My motto has always been: "If it ain't low, it ain't mine!" I had a '75 Camaro some years ago that was so low I had to avoid certain streets in town because I couldn't cross the railroad tracks! That's a little extreme... When I put my coupe on the road it dragged the mufflers on every speed bump around. I finally raised it up about an inch. The bottoms of the front radius rods clear the ground by about 5 1/2"; just enough to miss all the speed bumps, so hopefully you'll be fine.
We had final exams at school and then the wife and I went on a 4-day mini-vacation, so I've lost a couple of weeks. I'll be back at it tomorrow, though, so the next roadster installment should be up on my thread soon.Jim

I am unemployed and have nothing better to do. I get tired of feeding the pigeons in the park all day.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
