Way to go, hambiskit!!!! You and I are going to have to start a car club, or at least a new class at the car shows.
You've got the right idea, a donor car. You can get most of the major pieces you need, and modify whatever you can to get the new one running.
Post progress pix. It sounds like a cool ride.
