Hey Don, just wandering if there's anything going on with you or your sons car's. With my work schedule right now i'm living through your build.
Thank's for the time you put into this for us... Ron:

Thanks for asking. Yeah, we aren't going nuts on it yet, but he and I went to the shop Tuesday night and started mocking stuff up. We put the engine in the frame and started figuring clearances, etc. He still doesn't know he is getting a different frame made, and Dan and I are going to sneak over there Saturday and put in as many hours as needed to finish the frame up at that time. Xmas is just around the corner, so he have to hustle.
I ordered his engine mounts from Speedway, and they should be here Monday, so the timing should be ok. We are sort of in that pre-Xmas lull period, where you just can't get too involved with serious building, but that should change right after New Years.
Dan and I were just talking last night, Don has got to make a decision on wheels and tires early on, because they will dictate the final look and theme of the entire car. He is on the fence between chrome reverse, or Cragar SS, or solids, or??????????? Dan and I are going to have to get him moving in that direction so that we can start getting it up on the final wheels, and set ride height, etc. Don has never built an early car, just later models, so he needs some direction from us as to how to stick with a theme, etc. It is his car, but some of the things he has mentioned he wants to do to it are sort of all over the place, and we need to get the look tied down to one specific era.
So, not a lot going on, except for some pre-planning . I guess I could be doing something on mine though.
