i used just a HD 4 wheel motor stand. welded a brace up from the front of the stand, to the front of the pan. added a radiator, headers with muf. and an oil and temp. gauge i 'm talking a 454, with a 671 blower, thats a lot of wt. i almost sacred up the first time i rev. on it a little, it almost turned over in the floor. it sure is a good way to check for leaks .Mike

i'm getting better , had a pretty good dialysis last night. they got me down to 138 lbs. now, so they have been pulling a lot off me sense i was in the hospital. from a 174 to 138 in a few mos. is a lot to loose. still cant use my left hand.all in all everything is looking up. thanks for asking.

So I guess you would not recommend running an engine 3 feet off the ground on an engine stand, huh?I've started a few sitting right on the ground, but never had the guts to try one on the stand.
Glad to see you are feeling more like yourself. It always is good to see you respond to some thread because we know you are feeling like it.

this is not a good pic. picture but this is a pic. of a 350 with a 471 blower and a 454 with a 671 blower on it. i had them sitting in the front of my parts store at one time, and almost wore them out cranking them up for people.Mike
