Mike: Who would ever think a simple little drill press could be so vicious? Sorry to here about your Dad. I've got a whole new respect for these things. Wasn't it on American Chopper when Vinnies glove got caught in one that it mangled him pretty badly?
I just got off the phone with Speedway. The shipped my stuff in two boxes. The one that had the tie rod in it had a hole in the side, and guess what is missing? That kills my plans to paint that part this weekend, and they are sending another one, but it won't be here till next week. I tried to get FedEx Saturday delivery out of them, no go. Oh well, I have wheels to paint anyway. UPS is getting worse all the time. I just saw a bumper sticker that read "UPS, when it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed tomorrow."
Now I see why.

It doesn't take very long for stuff to happen to get you hurt.
I was installing a steel door from my basement to the garage and the Phillips bit in the drill slipped off the screw and I drove it right into my leg. Bled like a stuck hog for about 20 minutes and ruined a fairly new pair of jeans, but it hurt my pride more than anything. I was just bragging to a buddy of mine that stopped by that it had been YEARS since I had done something stupid like that!!!! LOL KARMA, its a killer!

How do you space years between stupid acts?
