What's Florida PD's stance on running fenderless? My dad was forced to run 3/4 fenders on his T in CT, I thought it really ruined the look of his car.

    BTW, yours looks awesome!

    Thanks again guys.

As for Florida's laws.........we really don't have any laws down here, come on down. No, seriously, our motor vehicle laws are pretty easy. You don't have to have fenders or a hood, and modifications like chopping and channelling are fine. You have to have normal stuff that your car had originally, like wipers, headlights, etc, but since mine are titled as from the 20's, I am exempt from most of that stuff too.

Most of the cars and trucks running around down here are modified in one way or another, whether it is a jacked up pickup with straight pipes, lowrider pickup or ricer, or the ones with huge tires the pimps drive. Only if you get some small town cop who wants to be a pain do you get any heat. The regular cops usually leave you alone unless you are doing something stupid or look suspicious and they want to check you out.

That is why I left Pennsylvania to come here. (try explaining THAT one to your wife....."Honey, we are moving to Florida because we don't need fenders there." )

Over in Ausbloodytralia where they have to have fenders, some enterprising fella has made them out of fibreglass to look exactly like tyres. And , mounted to the backing plate, and very close to the tyre, at first glance it's hard to tell.
