Did you watch the video of the engine start? On another board they've given him the name "Chicken legs". And I had nothing to do with that....................honest!

Oh, the abuse I take in the name of Hot Rodding !!
If I wanted this kind of treatment I would have stayed married. 
Anyway Brick, thank you, and the next few days will tell me what the sheen will be. Dan sort of agrees that it is straight enough for gloss, and if I put enough clear on we can buff the heck out of it.
Now I have to go do my leg exercises.

What hurricane? We were just saying today that we here in Florida have been very lucky so far this year (knock on wood) and we are pretty far into the season already.
Hope you fair well. The news is coming on in 15 minutes, I'll have to watch it. Keep dry bud.

Gee Bob, sorry to be such an ingrate.
What was I thinking??? 
I just watched the news, and not only is Ken facing a couple of hurricanes in Hawaii, but we have a couple breathing down our back too! They won't know much more til Sunday, but there are some things going on in the Atlantic.
I gotta start keeping up on world events. Dan and I built his 455 Olds engine by generator and flood lights after Hurricane Charlie........don't want a repeat of that.
