Don't wax it!! Fresh paint needs to cure for at least 30 days before waxing or you will trap solvents in the paint and cause it to blister or crack later... Besides, if you're going to have it striped, the pinstriper will thank you for not waxing it until after he's done. If you want to polish it up after you install it, get some 3M Fill 'n Glaze (pink stuff). It is a non-wax polish that is safe for new paint.
