    Yeah Jim, the first turn off for me was you mentioning your Sons car not making it because of the rear wheels. What's up with that?? He has a great looking car that you and he built together, and he is proud of it. That is the kind of cars they should welcome.

    I understand that if I tried taking a Ford into a Super Chevy Show that would be not right. But we are talking about hot rods and customs here that are, by their very nature, modified. What difference does it make if the mags came from 1970 or 1965?

    BTW Jim, did you know Barry M was a hot rodder? Here is an exerpt from his story:

    “I had ‘32 Ford roadsters and every hot car - a Jag roadster, a Siata roadster with a Corvette engine - it weighed 1,800 pounds and had a 300 hp engine.


    I remember the Siata from some magazine back then.
