    I will build one of these....Just need to find a bombed out aluminum block to make it light enough and cost effective. What do you figure an aluminum block in unusable shape should go for?

    the block is cheap compared to the time spent polishing!

    scrap value i guess..what a block weight, and alum is what price per pound?

    Now, THAT is cool... I wonder if one of those lightweight engine block replicas could somehow be used. Of course it wouldn't be polished, but it might look pretty cool anyway...

    Streets, now that's funny about the 454 ripping something off the snowplow!

    Anyone have suggestions on where to go to try and round up a broken aluminum block? I'm just itching to do this.
