I hope the color matches
Well just a bit ago I hit the BIN button on a set of GT40P heads that are rebuilt . Specs show they out flow the GT40 heads by a small amount . Good price with shipping , considering buying a used set and having them gone threw I saved a few hundred easy . When I get them I will post a pic since there is no linking .

Bobby - Great heads - that is but for some minor details. Sanderson to my knowledge makes the only header(FF1 - http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Sand...eader-Set.html and make sure you see their note about GT40P heads) that fits that allows you to remove the spark plugs and second, you need small head 3/8" bolts (ARP socket head - good or 12 point - better). If you use gaskets then these will work:http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-29D03AERL/

Do you have clearance in an 'A' with Mustang headers? I bought a set and they ran into the frame on one side and I believe the firewall as well on both sides plus grief for the steering shafting - but then my firewall is modified beyond the usual Brookville setback.
Posting, even Photobucket pictures can be a crapshoot as far a post vs linkDave W

Dave hoping to get the body back on soon for the floor work . I will recheck the shorties then they clear the frame easy since they don't go that low ., I have moved the engine forward a bit since the last time I checked them on the engine .

It's now insured and registered and had its' first (legal) 10 mile ride today. Now I have a 'punch list' of things to do tho none are very much, but that list of honey do's in my wife's hand will take priority for a while
(I do have to move the rear end forward about an inch - screwed up when I reassembled then forgot - a long senior moment)

Thanks guys - It was a blast!!
The worst 'punch list' items are an hour to put (lots) more caster in the front - I used the TCI specs and do need at least 2-3 more degrees to keep the car in a straight line. Moving the rear end forward will take a bit more time. I have at least an inch in the driveshaft yoke. If it needs more, then need to do some surgery on the 4-bars and shorten that shaft. I might even raise the rear another notch at the same time. Regardless, I'll still do as much as possible and if not enough, it will become a winter project so I can drive it this summer. The rest - for the most part, 'nigglers' and a day without honey do's
Then - there are the seats. No one said it would be easy(inexpensive)Dave W
