I just wrote the check for my Grundy insurance policy $263 for 12 months for $40K value and hopefully will have the car on the road in the next couple of weeks. One mega outstanding problem - leaky C4 tranny. I thought that was a problem of the past, but it is BAD. I might have to use my spare as I'm almost convinced it's a cracked case.

Something I hadn't done for a while - I took it down the road today while our resident State Trooper (across the street) was at work. New set of black marks was the response to the 'loud' pedal.

Those seats while nice, way too tight for my 6'4" / 200# senior body to work the pedals very well and I just sold the Recaros(for a profit!!!!). Looking at some padded bomber's now, but we'll see what happens.

Well, Dave, it looks like you're definitely too tall for the car. I think you're going to have to ship it out here to me! LOL!
Congrats on getting it out there on the street! It looks great! Sorry about the trans leak. That sucks. Could it possibly be the seals just need to soften up when driven a little or is it worse than that?
Either way, it's inspiring to see it. I'm going to the annual LA Roadster Show this Saturday for some more inspiration on mine, then I need to get my butt in gear and get busy!!

Bobby, you're making some great progress on yours too! You guys are leaving me in your dust!

NICE! It sure is pretty! Did you leave the black marks in front of the troopers house? , sorry to learn you're still not pleased with the seats! Hope you find an easy answer!

    My bulb isn't always!

Interesting seats. Some of those are kinda a cross between a Tea's seat and a bomber. They are really "proud" of them too!$$

    I hope the color matches

Well just a bit ago I hit the BIN button on a set of GT40P heads that are rebuilt . Specs show they out flow the GT40 heads by a small amount . Good price with shipping , considering buying a used set and having them gone threw I saved a few hundred easy . When I get them I will post a pic since there is no linking .
