Hmmmm....I think there were more paint fumes coming through that mask than you thought!!

It's looking great!! Can't wait to see what the clearcoat does to the color.

Bobby, you can't just say you're making changes to the A without being more specific! Inquiring minds wanna know!

Mike - gotta say that is a bright blue. Gotta see it after the CC. Should be great.

I hope you pulled the masking off and will re-mask - there is always a possibility of lifting edges after an overnight dry, especially if it's cool.

Randy - it's probably not the fumes but samples of the Panther P@#$ he was drinking

NAH, no paint fumes under the hood.. Just exhaustion! My right arm wants to fall off!.. The pictures don't really show it right.. While I was spraying it on today it popped into my head that it's really more like the blue from Sunoco or Gulf if I remember right.. One of them had an orange & blue combo and this reminds me of that blue..

I've never heard of the masking tape pulling. I've left the heat on in the shop so the temps have been steady this whole time. So hopefully that helps it stay in place. We'll see..

And I won't even touch a beer 'til Sunday... Then, WATCH OUT!

Never seen 3M pull back just the cheaper stuff . My son brought some home from work that will tear off skin industrial and worked well with the primers . Matter of fact will be a SOB to get it off after a couple months of being on .

Thanks Bobby! My original goal was to have it completed by thursday. Since I only have the clearcoat left to apply, I may just make it, but, the wife has some plans for part of my day so we'll see what happens.

I won't say I got it done "just like that"! This "journey" started in 2000! And I've moved 3 times in the process! The furthest western state was New Mexico and then Indiana. Also Rhode Island and back to Mass.! I started pushing the paint and body work last summer so this seems like it's taken forever!

Thanks Again! I hate choosing a paint color.. I like way to many of them. So this time I just walked into the paint shop and asked for a chip chart, flipped through it and the first one that caught my eye, that was it! I went back last night to do some cleanup, I ended up staring at it! Didn't get much done!!

Well, let's find out if it'll make you fall from your chair!?!?! Now I need to learn how to cut and buff.. Unless by some miracle the clear lays flat overnight. Doesn't look like glas like I was hopin' & wishin' for..
