That looks good, Dave! I definitely like the alternator better on the low side. That's where mine has always been. Of course, I'll have an AC compressor mounted above that.

To get clearance on my cross member my oil pan came from an 80-86 F150 and the dip stick is on the driver side screwing into the pan. I still have to find a decent screw-in tube & dipstick that will clear my headers, tho. It doesn't appear to be the same size fitting as the screw-in 351W oil pan.

I like that radiator hose treatment, too. I see you have what appears to be a heater/ac bulkhead on the firewall but no hoses. No heater hooked up?

I'm sure I'll follow your lead on the distributor, too, but I'm not quite ready for that yet......
