    car starting in winter

    Hi,
    I have a 95 nissan altima.

For last two days i have a problem in starting first time in the morning.. not in th day.

I had to just push the key and accelerator.

It has a new nissan battery and alternator which were put like 2 and half months back.

I have my engine service due in this week.

    What could be the problem?

Is it because of Engine Oil?
Is is because of Coolant? or any other oil?
Is it coz of spark plug?

    will appreciate ur reply.

    thanks

whats up, my wife has a 2002 maxima and I am amazed every time I open the hood. I only change the oil and filter in mine.
there is so much wiring and computerized shit in there , I would say bring it to a dealer or shop that has the computers and diagnostic tools to find out what may be wrong , I def. have an extended warranty plan on mine. keep checking back , someone might of had the same prob. with thier car and can help you out, sorry I cant help you
    Drive like hell....................You'll get there

It could be any of the things you mentioned. What's the weather like in Herndon? You may need drygas if the temp is below 32*. Most of the knowledgeable people on this website only know about american made V8s. You need a mechanic that works on imports to eliminate the possibilities one at a time. If it's going in for service this week they should solve your problem anyway. If you have any questions regarding swapping in a Chevy V8 I'm sure we could be of more help.

I dont think i ever saw that yet. I would say take it out and put a big block in it, that will take care of your starting problems or whatever else you got goin on, BUT you might get a "rough idle" problem. , we can even wire you up a saying in your message center to say "check mirror soon".
