Crazy Studebaker
Was at a car show this week-end and saw this very radical 53 Studebaker. I had seen it before up at Hot August Nights, but did not have such a good photo op. He is running a 604 cu in Hemi complete with dual spark plugs and distributors. The car sits on an Art Morrison chassis and the detail is amazing.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

So that's why Studebaker put the emblem on the grill. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

The show is called Thunder at Depot Park. It'e every Memorial Day week-end Saturday in Rio Linda. The car owner came all the way up from Fresno.

Yes I talked with him for a while. He apparently has quite a collection of cars. No idea what his business is other than it must be fairly lucrative. Not sure of his first name, but I think his last name is Gardner.

Wild is not the word. I love it.
Anyone who owns a car like that must have big coins, because I know he did not build it to drive.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
