I used the spring also,I did add a nut and sleeve on the door jam.This is used in the electrical industry for water proofing electrical wires.It is smooth and made of aluminum.It(SPRING) travels real nice,and you can polish the sleeve.Cost about 1.00 total ea.The key to mounting is mount the sleeve as close to the inside cab as posibble,creating a larger radius for the spring to travel.You can screw the sleeve directly into the door jam and eliminate the nut if you have a space problem.Originally Posted by brickman
