'34 Chevy
Now that my '66 Chevelle project is coming home from the paint shop and will soon start being put back together, I am starting to do some research on my next project.
I want to build a '34 Chevy street rod. I am going to use a fiberglass body and new chassis. I have looked at Outlaw and Superior Glass Works rolling chassis kits and really like the looks of Superior's Phaeton body, although a 2 door sedan would be fine also. Are there any other companies offering a '34 Chevy rolling chassis kit? Is either Superior or Outlaw better than the other? What are the pros and cons of either of these kits? What should I look out for in this project? I will probably use an LS6/4L60E combo. Anyone have any pictures?
Any and all help and advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!Brian H. Bridwell

I found this link a few months back that lists a ton of body manufacturers. Some are probably good, some are probably bad. But the good thing is, you can search by what specific body year you are looking for.

Can't tell you much about Superior other than they have changed ownership a couple of times, and again just recently. Most people I know have purchased parts from them (fenders, etc) and have been satisfied. As far as Outlaw Performance, I know of no one who has been dissatisfied with their bodies. They make a top quality body. Outlaw also has a complete rolling chassis to go with their body. Not cheap, but good quality.
