    Redneck Coonass Nationals

     



    Went to the Redneck Coonass Nationals car show a few weeks ago in Hammond La.Its an annual show with a pretty good turn out of 350-400 cars.

    Don't recall seeing it but the show was at a big motel and spread out all the way around and out into surrounding fields.

    I went in 2005 the year Katrina hit. In fact did the show, when to down to Nawlins for the following week and got out the day before the storm. It's without a doubt a fun event. All just a tad crazy especially Randy Wilson who is one of the organizers. I know quite a few people from all over the south that go every year. I would love to go back some time, although it will be kind of sad to see Nawlins now.
