'39 Plymouth coupe
So my father in-law just got a new project car. A 39 Plymouth coupe. The car came in a lot of pieces and with a lot of pieces. But he's worried about being able to find parts that aren't there. Maybe he should have thought about that before he wrote the check but thats a different story. Anyone out there that kind help us? We live a little north of nowhere so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is he going to do, hot rod or restore it? In either case, he should be able to find the parts he needs in either used or new. I don't think these parts will be as plentiful as if he were doing a similar year Ford, but still not unobtainable.
Some of our Mopar guys on here will be able to give you some places, I'm sure, and Ebay can be a great source of parts if you have patience and keep watching.
Good luck and shoot us some pictures.

Looks like a good solid project. As mentioned earlier, will be harder to find parts than for a Ford or Chevy, but not impossible, and when he has completed, will not be as many of them at shows as there will be Fords or Chevys. I hope he will entertain the idea of keeping it all MoPar and not bow to the temptation to drop in a 350 Chevy.

It looks like someone has already ruined it with a sbc so I hope he fixes it right.
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
