Bob,
Sorry I missed you, it was a pretty crazy weekend. I was #766 to get into the roadster show with my roadster. So I was probably waiting in line when you came by When you come here again please let me know.

[QUOTE=Bob Parmenter]........was mis-spent traveling around So Cal in search of old car entertainment.
Mis-spent?
No way. "Mis-spent" is how the majority of us card carrying authentic geezers used our younger years. I would have loved to have mis-spent my weekend that same way.
Thanks much for the report.

Yeah Bob, I've also noticed that a lot. You would think to help promote the product that they give away free samples or something.
Looks like you had a great time.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Bob, did ya catch that zinc chromate green '32 built by Ionia Hot Rod Shop and was the cover car on the July issue of Street Rodder? Kinda in line with Foose's P-32 flavor, but what a cool car!
I gotta hand it to the LA Roadsters for putting on what I think is one of the better shows that I'm aware of here in the LA area. Sure, there are bigger shows with more cars but can someone tell me of an event where the car owner can bring his car to display for free and have the promoters provide a free goodie bag, bar-b-que dinner and a engraved pewter mug to the car owner? Usually your paying somebody to have folks come look at the car you dumped your time, money and efforts into. Just something wrong about that.
