Thread: Parade line up

Was invited to be in our towns holiday parade this year...
Had the daughter help light up the car and put some tinsel on it.
Went to the parade staging area.....and waited 3+ hours.
It was cold (by our standards)... maybe 40 degree's at the end.
Parade went along fine.. TV, radio, and all the usual stuff....
No balloons, especially since the Goodyear blimp crash <g?>..
Glad to have the heater working.
Took off straight from there for our SDC chapter holiday dinner party. Anyways, the parade was on local TV tonight. I watched just wondering what would be said.
They read off the list of the car club cars, and when they got to mine they had a nice 'on camera' shot..
And the announcers said...
"I don't have a clue as to what it is, but it sure is yellow, and following them is the horse patrol"
Ahhh.. My 15 seconds of fame and glory..and they don't even know my name <g>
My wife thought it was.....'appropriate'..

Yeah we do 2 or 3 every year and a couple of toy runs also..................Heater ?, oh yeah, those things are only in buckets with tops ................Damn I thought everyone knew a 37' stude coupe express when they saw one
