A new TMoore T-shirt concept..need your opinions
As you all know, my graphic design biz revolves around cars. Well, it's time for a new company T-shirt and I wanted something 'cool' that kind of says 'car culture' but not so directly...no car illustration on it this time.
I've been getting into a lot of custom culture and lowbrow art and I came up with this design which evolved from a sketch I did a while back. It's keeping with the whole pinstriping theme but in more of the new, trendy 'jagged' striping which is becoming more popular these days.
It'll be a 3 color job on the back of the "T"...dark gray, light gray (or maybe metallic silver) and dark blood red printed on a black shirt. I'm not sure if I'll put anything on the front or not...if so maybe just my TMoore signature.
a close-up...
Tell me what your thoughts are on this...would you wear it? Do you think it would go over well with 'car guys' and 'gals'?
Obviously I plan to post on several other car forums to get their feedback before I print them, but this is what I'm planning.
Your feedback would be much appreciated!
Thanks!tmooregraphics.com

i like it,would wear it,but i think blood red on black would not be a good outline, red is good but something a little brighter then blood would work.any way cool design.

I really like the design. I get a hint of dragon vibe from the red stripe, and semi-classic flames from the design within the spade, and the incorporation of your company name/url at the bottom works well.
What it needs is something to make it POP. The red on black works for me, but the light and dark greys are too close. Adding a fourth color complicates things, but if the jagged stripe were white it might make them work better together. That, or experiment with other colors (the silver could work, but might still be too subtle) to get something that rivets the eye. If your goal is classy/warm maybe a beige & burgundy mix, or maybe a taupe to keep you in the grey range. If you want more shocking then a green (more toward blue) & yellow or yellow and purple. Just some thoughts.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

I like it. And I want to have it on the hood of my truck with some more old school pinstriping.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
