car buffs treasure paradise!
ok here is the story coppied below, dont know if i buy the story or not but wilder stuff has happened. if true what a happy ending it would be!
A married couple bought some property in Portugal . The property had a lovely
farmhouse and a large barn. No one had lived in the house or on the property
for 15 years.
The new owners, while exploring their property, decided to look in the barn,
which they had not entered before purchasing the property. The barn door was
padlocked and welded shut.
The new owners ground off the padlock and the welds, and voila! Unbelievable!

Good stories are always fun, even when they're only stories of the imagination. Check www.snopes.com , the cars are real the story isn't quite. Not sure how you'd check the accuracy of Snopes!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Good grief. Anyone of us could have a heyday in that collection. Among some of the American cars I noticed a 46-48 Ford coupe, a 46-48 Chevy, several Olds, plus many more of both European and American design. A dream world.Duane S

I saw these photos several months ago without any explaination of the situation. Did you notice the 1932 Ford Victoria in photo 5 and 6?

Send me the Lotus Elan's -- not greedy I'd take just one. Drove one of those back in the 60's, took a 90 degree turn at 60 mph. Like riding on rails, car hardly swayed, no wheel hop, just fabulous. Truly a race bred car.
Looking at all those cars in the pictures I would have guess they were either dealer owned or stolen.Bob

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
