Well as most of you guys know, I have a 48 Chevy Coupe (first car or vehicle I ever bought about 4 years ago I think). Anyways, recently I was given a 94 S10 Blazer 4 dr 4x4 with a screwed up title. I tried to get the title straightened out but I can't. The title is still in the original owners name and it's been written on and crossed out probably 2 or 3 times if I remember correctly. So here is what I was wondering... What can I use off this thing for my 48 Chevy coupe? The engine is the 4.3 Vortec with the MFI spider injection and the overdrive transmission. The interior is very nice on this thing. The fenders in the front, the rockers, tailgate door, and doors are completely rusted out so I figured instead of trying to keep on with the title I'd rip it apart and junk the body for scrap. The thing is actually very nice and could get junkyard doors easily but I dont have time for that. The glass, interior, chassis and such are all very nice and I even drove it home about 45 minutes away or more and it did fine besides a leaky steering pump. The engine was supposedly rebuilt with about only 1000 miles on it. If I were to fix up the 48 I wanted a 350 in it with overdrive but maybe this 4.3 will push it along ok?
Any idea's or info would be appreciated here! And like I said, it's a 4x4 so I don't know if I can use the transmission or not? The front end is a 79 Z28 camaro sub frame on this car as well (the 48 I mean).
