I would guess this was made up by a snail-eating European, or some Hollywood Princess, while she lunched at the country club. ("That Volvo is hot!" LOL!)
It clearly is not an American's list of the desireable cars in history. Tally Ho!

Cars that didn't.....
69 Camaro, 70 Chevelle, 70 Hemi Cuda, Any model Nova, Any pre-62 Vette, Any T-Bird, Any GTO, Roadrunner, 409 Chevy, Hemi DeSoto, Bulletnose Stude.
Instead we learn that the 63 (rather than 65) Riv is cool, the 67 Eldo, Lincoln Mark2, Datsun Fairlady, Minicooper, Ford Cortina, Vw GTI, Hudson Hornet, and a whole bunch of european exotics.
These guys have spent too much time admiring bizarre milestone vehicles and the high-dollar exotics parked in their doctors' garages.
"Strange and Snobby" would have been a better name for this list than "Cool"
Give them an "A" for playing to their demographic and throwing in a few obvious "cool" cars to give their list a small hint of credibility....

That's just ain't right Brick. My ultimate to own one day is a '29 duecey SSJ, can't chop it up and change the lines 'cuz it's a convertible worth more bling bling than the women in your family could ever spend in a life time......hhhhmmmm.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?
My grandfather, mom's side, drove a 39 Plymouth coupe when I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was pretty cool and I loved the tail fins on the 49 Cadillac. I drew cars when I was in the 5th and 6th...
How did you get hooked on cars?
