I was changing the gears and the pass side axle would not come out, after some time it come out and that was not enough for me to look sooooooo i went ahead and set up the gears when i was putting the axles back in that side they would not go all the way in so i grabbed the other axle and tried to put it in and it would not go in so i took both axles to the other side and they both went in great so i took the rearend out of the car and sat in on the floor and you could see bend very easy........ the pass side was towed in about 1/4 th 3/8 of a inch.............for the last 18 yrs i have been running a Chevy 10 bolt with 35 spline axles and a spool I am replacing it with a ford 9 in 35 spline and spool.
The short answer one axle would come out easy and it WOULD NOT go back in.

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
