Storming like all get out allmost the whole trip last night. Well the original 4 spd is with it as the shifter its opened up and a part . Looks like i'm going to learn a rebuild of one .
Also it has a 6K tach nice find for any Mustang . When i was looking this over i noticed it was loose so i pulled instrument panel out and behind it was a factory ok tag .
The owner purchased this car in Sept of 1983 and it went in garage for restore in 1987 . Importatly the floor is solid as with the cowls . The rails are solid i will only be replacing the very rear section on rears. Deck lid and hood has rust with the notorious 1/4 rust
Check out pic of alum M/T valve covers it has a HP 427 on one end with the Ford logo in the small circle on the other end . You experienced Ford guys know these covers .
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
