Cars shows in the south?
I need some help. Are there are good car shows in either North or South Carolina, Eastern Tenn, Northern GA in the next 4 weeks? I need to take photos of cars with cool paint. I went up to the NSRA show today in Richmond and there were some very cool cars there, but nothing like the numbers and variety that shows up for a GoodGuys Show.
I got some good photos but not nearly enough ro really what I need.
I think I remember a bog show that happens in Sept in Eastern TN.
I went to a few local shows last weekend, and shot a couple of cars with nice paint, but I need to take atleast several more hundred.
Thanks!

Hey bud, check out Pigeon Forge Sept. 12-15. They are having the great fall rod run, every parking lot up there will be packed with tons of muscle car and street rods. I go every year and spend hours walking up and down the parkway looking at cars, the only down side is traffic is a bear. You move faster on foot those days.
AdamI ain't dumb, I just ain't been showed a whole lot!

I want to be able to list credits for cars that appear in my book, could you email me with your friend's name?
I did get some good photos at Richmond, but not enough cars and trucks with artwork on them. but there were some sweet cars there, like a woody that was simply gorgeous (it will be in the book.) My 22 yr old niece could not believe she was seeing a car that had real wood panels.
It's funny, as she is not really into cars, but she really enjoyed the show and just might go to the next one with me.
I think I'll be going up to the Shades of the past show in Pigeon Forge in 2 weeks. I have to have the book finished by the end of Sept. The hardest part of this book is narrowing down the photos to 650.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
