    OUCH Hidden Head Cost$

Just got a set of Edelbrock aluminum heads- been looking at for years.

Reading the instructions I now need to take off my stamped steel 1.6 3/8" rockers- need roller rockers now.
Thus goes the cheap chrome valve covers- need high top valve covers for clearing the rollers.
Heads require 9.800" pushrods - TWO HUNDRED PLUS BUCKOS? whew

I have never used them, but they do sell a adaptor that puts old style 4 bolt valve covers, on new style 2 bolt heads, and they raise them about a half inch.
They also sell risers that are about 1/2-3/4" high, for 4 bolt covers.

That is if you want to keep your valve covers you have.

Anyone can cut one up, but! only some can put it back together looking cool!
Steel is real, anyone can get a glass one.

forgot to say this is an Olds 403
with 5 bolt valve covers. think the
    taller ones are just $46

    still can't get over $209 + shipping
    for pushrods
