I wish him congratulations on the car, and speedy recovery and good luck with his new knee.

I saw both Ken's sedan and Bruce Leven's coupe, that shares the cover with the sedan, at the GNRS. Both were very impressive and my personal favorites of the show.

Hoping for a quick recovery from his surgery and looking forward to his next build.

Kens wife Tina had both her knee replacements done together approximately 5 years ago so she will know exactly how to nurse Ken back to good health. The little nurses uniform she may wear would have any red hot blooded man up running real quick. .I too miss his input here and his building skill is just amazing.

His wife Tina is a saint. She used to vacuum the rugs in his garage! I wish Ken well too with his recovery. Pictked up the magazine today nice spread, worth a look!

Wow, I don't know how to respond to all of this, you guys have been stalking me! Thank you for carring and the great compliments on the sedan. Last week end we took it up north for a 600 mile trip, it got 14 mpg and never missed a beat.
I have really tried to post a photo but honestly I can't figure it out.
I documented the rest of the build and will be happy to share once I get some help on posting photos.
Thanks again for all the nice words, my knee came out really good now I can kick myself in the ass when needed!!

Hey Ken welcome Back! I think the easiest way to post photos is to get a free account at photobucket and upload your photos there. Once you do that, there is a link by each photo you uploads. Just click on that and it should change color and the words copied should show up. Then on club hot rod just click under the words of your posting, on a blank spot and hit the "Ctrl" key and the "c" at the same time the link you copied on Photobucket will then show up. Once you hit the post button, your photo will magically appear!

Hi Ken. Stovens gave you a Cliff's Notes tip on one way to post pictures. Here's a link to a more detailed version that I hope might help you get through the steps.
    Link Here - http://www.clubhotrod.com/shop-talk/...es-thread.html

I recently discovered that PhotoBucket is free storage up to a limit, but then they ask for nominal payment if you want to upload more so it makes good sense to reduce the file size before uploading - faster action, and more pictures in the free storage. Good luck!

I don't like photobucket because there is a limit to what you can upload and any changes to anything there will eliminate your uploads to any other site-whether it be the forum here, Wiki, etc, etc----------and also the fcontinuing fees really add up $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I have the camera That I really like (Canon 50d) and lens that I don't have to carry a suitcase sized bag for and think the 8 gb Ultra chips are perfect for most of my outings. The pics will show minute details when you zoom in and have all the effects of film from afar--------- Hope they someday get this site up to speed.

I have photobucket and pay $25/yr to have additional space. The problem is, photobucket can be a real PITA and I have just been saving pics to my PC and then attaching them to posts lately.

I use mostly 4 and/or 8 gb ultra compact flash cards- buy them 10 at a time just to save shippimg-

If just going to a local show/crz, I will usually use a 4 gb but if on a trip to a race, I'll load a 8gb.
Ran out of space on photobucket early on

    HijackedThread.gif

Wow, Ken posts on his build thread after an absence of more than four years, and his thread gets hijacked for yet another complaint session about not being able to post many megapixel pictures, about PhotoBucket, and explaining for the umpteenth time about using 4GB or 8GB memory cards, purchased in bulk? With all due respect, can we give it a rest?

Ken, your 600 mile trip in the sedan sounds very cool, and your 14mpg makes me feel really good about getting 19+ to Springfield & back. I hope that you get the picture thing figured out and that you feel comfortable posting again. If there's anything I can do to help I'm here, and I'm happy to talk with your IT Specialist (your grandson) too, if that will help get things sorted. It's really great to see your name pop up here again.

My first street rod was a '30 sedan. I'm loving this car. It's a perfect representation of a hot rod.
