    I agree with Shine on the pretty shiny stuff. I drove my DeSoto for about 4 years with moon disc caps, because I could not afford the wheels I really wanted. I convinced myself I liked the moons on the car, but I bought the "shiny" wheels as soon as I could pay (not afford) for them. If I waited until I could 'afford them', I would never have gotten them.

    Uh Oh! I bought a pair of Chrome Valve Covers at the swap meet because they were tall enough to clear my Comp rockers on the big block and were only $20.

    If they cause a power reduction, maybe I could paint them Krinkle Black!!!

    Difference of Hot Rod vs. Street Rod

     



    To me, growing up in the 60's, a hot rod or street rod must have a 4 speed trans and not an automatic to even be considered.
