Thread: 5 window model a truck?

Hi, im pretty new to the whole street rod scene. I seen in the october's edition of GoodGuys Mag, there is a 28' model a truck in there with 5 windows. it looks like an extended cab. why can't I find info on these? are they cusom made? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Sounds like a home made truck . Some have been done really well though .

If you're talking about the one on page 112 that's custom built, looks like they might have used some Model T coupe upper parts, or styled that way (could be a cut down A sedan). If you look on the opposite page, upper right corner, that's what a stock A closed cab pickup is stock.

Speedway motors sells an 34 extended cab pickup kit.
