Last Refuge
Got my new pickup bed this week, looks like pretty good workmanship. Too bad it took almost 5 months, and not once did they show the courtesy or maturity of contacting me,I had to chase them. Man,that's not just wrong,it's damn poor business. What rankles me even more is I can't bring up this transaction on eBay to give him the feedback he deserves because it has been too long since I won the auction. It's really a shame,he makes a nice bed,and sells at a very fair price, but his business practices are rediculous. HANK

Your comments are exactly what I have seen elsewhere Hank. Everybody says his stuff is nice but shipping is ridiculously slow. One guy posted that he knows the owner, and it is pretty much a one man shop and he gets waaaaaaaaaaaay behind.
Glad you finally got yours and that it looks nice. My Son just bought a Brookville model A bed, and it came the same week (7 boxes UPS ) Really nice piece too.

I ordered one, took 7 months. I called once to asked about it he told me to shut up and hung up on me. I usually don't say anything negative about anyone, there is always two sides to every story but they SUCK! The quality I got was not that good, I sold it. I would not do business with them ever again. The beads were off 1" side to side among other things.

And they say customer service is dead in this country!!!!!!
Knowing the gentleman you are Ken, it is hard to believe you did ANYTHING to provoke the hangup and comment. How do guys like this stay in business?? The former owner of our Marina was that kind of guy........he was legend in the area for being a mean old SOB, and regularly threw people out of the office. Yet people kept coming back time and time again to buy boats from him.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
