Thanks to all for your prayers
Greetings from PA
Josh's surgery went very well, spent 11 hours on the operating table. After much manipulation and the removal of his old fusion hardware and the addition of new fusion hardware his curvature is now down below 20% and he was sitting in a chair for several hours yesterday. Today hopefully they will get him up and have him take a few steps, maybe even a trip down the hall, or at the very least across his hospital room.
Again we want to thank all of you who sent us your prayers, and a special thanks to those of you who donated blood either directly to, or in Joshua's name.
Sincerely,
Bill S. & FamilyInstead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Fanastic......I'm glad it went well and sounds like he's doing great. I donated Friday afternoon and will do a plasma donation in a month to get ready for the holiday season. I hope we can all get out and donate something to help those who could use it. Josh is lucky to have a Pop like you Bill. We'll still keep your family in our prayers. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

That is so terrific Bill. Sounds like quite an improvement in the curvature. Our prayers are with you and him.

Great news Bill.
I've had 'simple' back surgery years ago, compared to what your son is experiencing.
That first trip out of bed is really tough!!!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
