Trying to find conversions for a 99 ford ranger
I am new to the hobby, but I am having trouble finding out years/makes/models of early 50s and 60s pick up trucks that will fit a modern frame I have and am looking to use.
I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 2WD short bed.
If anyone knows any good websites with this kind of information I'd really appreciate it.

Anything will fit on it, just depends on how much work you want to do...If you're looking for a simple bolt on deal, ain't gonna happen..... Measure the wheelbase and track width on your Ranger and start matching it up to pickups you're interested in....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Here's an article on installing a 51 Ford PU body on a 2000 Ford Explorer chassis.....similar but not identical to the Ranger chassis you have.

With the SWB you will probably have to shorten the bed to fit. Not a bolt on but certainly looks doable.
