I'd be glad to help...one question, where did that color choice come from? It's unique and captures the eye.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

    Thanks for the help...
The paint color is good ol' GM fleet yellow (PPGBC/CC).
The truck was yellow from day one.
I found some original paint on the inside of a door bar and bought a paint chip chart for '37 off Ebay...
Went into my PPG guy and asked him to give me an 'off the shelf' color to match this (makes fixin' it easier after i mork it up )... He took one look at it and said "That's just GM Fleet yellow".. Whipped his book open and I couldn't tell the diff... So that's what it is.. Snow plow municipal sewer truck yellow

You've got my vote. Love those old studes. Friend of mine use to have a 4door 38 stude sedan. Also really like yellow cars. When I saw yours I thought it looked a lot like John Deere yellow. Had another friend who painted his 39 Chevy in JD yellow. Can't say it didn't stand out in a crowd.

    Hope you win.

Don, obviously you were on the wrong site. I actually got a much better deal. I got the opportunity to lock in a price on 1000 gallons of Texaco gas at a price of only $6.59 per gallon tas a hedge against future price increases.

Only problem, it has to be used in the next 12 months. Downside is my local price for Texaco is $2.79/gallon. If only the price would go up another $4 in the next couple of months, I could make out on the deal.
