So us "old guys" know it all....

I remember seeing a purple T show rod in the sixties that had vertical fins, and polished ribs running down the center of the body. I think it may have been built by Joe Wilhelm, but am not sure. Does anyone remember the name or builder? There might have also been a model kit made.....help! I won't be able to sleep tonight!

You're probably thinking of Joe Wilhelm's "Wild Dream", this is 1964, L.A. Winternationals car show. He called the color violet, in metal flake as was common (though relatively new) of the period. 283 with 4 speed.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

I see you found some box art while I was fixing the picture.

BTW, the Ala Kart is a model A.

How about Bob Hill's "Nudit-T" out of Yakima Washington in the 60's and late 70's? It was pink with 8 straight pipes and covered with pin-up girls of outstanding quality. It won everything there was to win back then. I often wonder what happened to it and him.
