Thanks nitro, looks like some good shows on the schedule.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

I'm glad that Jason Priestly isn't in this one much. He seems like a bad choice for a host.

Well, I guess the Club Cobra guys were all jazzed about tonight's program! I just wonder if the new Cobra will really make it to production, and if it'll end up like the new Mustang and not be very much like the show car that they produced...

Great Show!
I thought the show was very well done. I liked that it was an hour long. I also liked that it was not a clone of some of the other car shows that have turned into infomercials. The production was excellent and had me waiting for a commercial to run down the hall. I was afraid that they weren't gonna let Carroll really drive it, during the driving sequence I kept thinking "Come on PUNCH IT!" Then when he was out there spinning donuts I about got tears in my eyes. I hope the remaining shows follow in the same vain. I got a new timer set on my satellite box!

I also caught Chip Foos' name in the credits at the end but it went by too quickly to see what he was being credited with. Did anyone catch it? I missed the first 10 minutes or so, so I did not get the introductions of who everyone was.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Very Good!!!
I liked the show almost as much as the first "Rides" program on Foose... It was great to see Shelby involved with the program... The Cobra was way cool and I am sure it will be subject of many conversations for the next several months...
Can't wait to see the next episode...

Great show. I think they hired Jason Priestly after the shows were in the can. Maybe if they get a bigger budget next year they can get Tim Allen.
It was great to see Carroll cutting cookies with the new Cobra. It looks like an awesome car. I think Ford will produce this car. The Cobra is already a legend. There are more Cobras for sale right now than Ford and Shelby ever produced in the 60s. If they don't produce this car it'll be their biggest mistake since the Edsel.
Daisy is now a multi-million dollar car because Carroll himself "broke it in". I would love to see it in polished aluminum like the old 427 Cobra that they showed.
I think it'll outsell the Viper. If they can keep the price in the same range as the Vette it could have a long production run.
Hmmmmm I wonder how much I can get on a home equity loan." Im gone'

It was a great show. Unfortunately I missed the first one on Chip Foose, I would have loved to see that one. I'll bet they will produce it, but as with all concepts, by the time it gets into production it wont be as cool. Not to say that it won't still be a kick-ass car, but it will have to have side mirror installed, the tail lights will never make it to production with their current "flush mount" design, it will have to have more significant bumpers front and rear, and the interior won't be as nice. Those cool blue seats will most likely be replaced with ones that look more like the seats in the current mustangs, and unfortunately they will have to make room for things like a/c, heater controls, a stereo etc. So... if and when it makes it into production, it will still be a kick-ass car, but I am guessing it will be about twice the money of a new vette, and speaking of new vette's who else thinks those ugly exposed headlights was a big design mistake?
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
