^^^ Yup... my '76 Deville had 'em just like that. Front edge of front wheel well and rear edge of rear wheel well on passenger side.

We had a set on our '48 Buick Roadmaster convertible. Ours were mounted behind the front and rear wheel as I remember. My Dad put them on because my Mom was the worlds worst driver, hands down.

Only on the passenger side? What about parking on the left side of a one-way street? (They drive on the right side of the road in Portugal, by the way.)

^^^ - Yes... you want them on the side of the car that will be by the curb... if that's both sides, then so be it... however, they are more useful on the passenger side as that is the side that is harder to judge where things are

My dad had them on his 62 Ford wagon, both sides. I think that was the last car he put them on, as they were already being seen as "ol' fashion" or no longer "hip".

    Check out my Packard's

I found the mounting remains of some ancient ones when I put these on in the same places.

Put them on the curb so other people can use them too!
