Rev.
If you're looking for a junkyard with 27 to 34 coupes in it you're about 50 years too late. In the 60s LBJ's wife headed a campaign to crush every old car that was visible from the road. I think CA. still has a car crushing program going on. Any old coupes that survived would be in rural areas hidden from view behind a barn or in the woods. Rodding is very popular in the bay area so most of those have been discovered already.
Try searghing ebay for a project car or pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News or the local classified ad magazine. If you join a club like the Bay area Roadsters some of those guys might have a project or parts car that they might sell. Rodders hate to junk anything that someone might be able to use.
Good luck in your search.

i dont know if you've found your coupe yet or if you are willing to travel a little ways. there is a huge rust free junk yard in arizona look it up when you get the chance.Drive it like you stole it!!!!!!
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
