    Okay Ford lovers.........

Here's some interesting eye candy. These are put together by Kar Kraft, a long time Ford factory subcontractor. They put together a brand new 375hp, tri-power mod motor with stand alone ignition system in crate form for $7k, with the Webers (400+) for $8900, which in today's terms ain't real bad. I know it's probably smarter to run these with injection, and they do respond to supercharging very well (KK is working on a 671 blown version), but for us old farts who cut our car lust teeth in the early '60s, Holley tripower or Webers are pretty enticing.

Now to throw out some ideas for those who think they've got the urge for another project. Personally, I've committed to myself that a certain little roadster will be the last project I do, so it's up to you younger or more ambitious studs. I can see one of these in a '63 300 sedan, painted in a plane jane color (no flashy red, yellow or whatever, nor black), stock boring interior with only the shift stick in front of the seat, and a tach on the steering column to give a hint (no bubble on the hood would be even better). When the hood is popped though, watch the jaws drop!! Back it up with a Tremec 5 speed, or T56 six speed............a nice blend of older and newer. Want a little more splash? Then stuff this beauty in a '60 Starliner (or '61 if you insist, I like the '60 better), maybe a base model '62 Galaxie sedan. If you want to wind back the clock a little more a '57 Custom 300 would be perfect (though a '56 F100 wouldn't be too shabby either). Anyway, so much for dreaming, someone get out there and build one! Enjoy.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

No pass for you my friend.............................you don't get to take on anymore new projects until that hemi-fied Dodge pickup gets done. It's bad enough I had to talk you into buying it back................................

Wow that's a pretty good deal for the 3x2 version. I've also seen some neat looking "Hemi" style valve covers made by someone that would complement the look. I have that alone into a new block, bare heads and 2x4 intake for the FE I'm building.

Very good looking engine!!!! In my twisted mind I see it an a Triumph TR-3 painted Screaming Yellow with a set of BBS wheels, single hoop bar, and unloading it at some Road Racy Track for a really fun day of open track testing!!! I've just never been real good at subtle!!!!!
