The Real 67 Mustang Stunt Car
Here are some photos I took at the Volo auto Museum last year . These are two of the many 1967 Mustang stunt cars used in the Fast & Furious T/D . I was walking a-long when I First saw the one out side with the str 6 Cyl . That one has a import Nissan GT-R's Turbo engine said to have 340 HP at 7300 RPM and 265 Torque at 5950 RPM . No big thing to me But then I hear this other car coming down the drive way . And you know this one's making some power and that Cam it Sounded like a strip only car ! Then one of the worker told me pointing at the other Mean sounding Mustang Thats the one they used for the stunts . He then said the stunt car had a nasty Stroker SB Ford engine . Well when he left I open the hood and took these photos . He said it was a 347 . I did look up this car on line . I found out they had another one with a 430 Windsor near 500 HP . The import was not up for the task These are the photos of the one with the Import engine .

The car with the 347 had a real nice paint job just like the one with the import engine . And it had a top loader 4speed with a 9" rear end . I would say it could run 13teens . COOL

They fail to mention that the rb26 thats in the car in the movie could easily pull the same #'s and higher with stock internals...
