Thats cool, I have alot of memorys in those trucks. There were alot of them in my family when I was young. I learned how to drive in one, 3 on the tree with a flathead 6. Very cool p/u's."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

If you've ever been on a large boat ,sail or power, you'd know why they are named that....lots of visibility....also a marketing tool by Dodge. The Big 3 were getting back into production on their vehicle lines...thus you had the Fleetmaster and others. They were marketing to all the WWII vets....
Have you ever noticed that of the late 40's/ early 50's cars there were not a lot of green colors offered?...."Breathe in... Breathe out... then move on with life. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff"
