There will always be shows in the future, so we'll still be here cheering you on. I don't know how you do it to begin with! Your one hard working guy!
I wish I had half of your motivation and even a tenth of your talent! Hang in there!

Ken, you and your car are winners with us whether or not you made the GRNS! That has to be the most beautifully engineered and built 32 I have ever seen and I, for one, can't wait to see the rest of the build. You did your best and that is all anyone can do.

Steve, Restorod, Toycollector- Thanks for your kind words.
Well I am motivated again, and will start posting what I have got done. While I was resting and taking time off from my roadster I started chopping my sedan. It cleared my head for the roadster, I think working on another project made me think about how close the roadster is to finishing, so I'm ready to finish it.
I have a lot of reading to do to catch up on things

I got the final drawings from Steve Stanford today, so I thought I would show what the interior will look like. It is light Grey and a little darker Grey

Ken, I like the look, the first thing that popped into my mind was a '58-'62 Corvette. Who gets the honors of doing the stitching?

Looks great! Two tone really sets it off. And the bar between the gauges really stands out in the rendering. What's the oval logo between the seats going to be? It also looks like your going to have a nice sound system in there!

BradC-Thanks, I think if I would of changed it one more time Steve would of thrown it out

Mike52-I hadn't looked at it like that before but your right it has similarities. The guy that is going to do it has a small shop in Long Beach. I really like the quality of his work.

Steve-The emblem will be our club logo which is also in my horn button. I will show you a shot below.

I sent my cases out to get polished, they came out really nice. I have been working on adding on to the block plate to cove up some of the ugly part of the back of the block. If I keep the polished firewall all of this will be seen so it has to be nice looking in the reflection of the firewall. I'm making a dash on the back of the block to mount a fuel pressure and oil pressure Gage.

Ken that should work out very well. The polished parts are really going to be a nice finishing touch. Like the logo. I guess you'll be the official club car!

Here is what it looks like with the ugly castings covered up. I'm going to button everything up today so I can put the motor back in. Then I can start it, then maybe go for a spin

    Thumbs up

That interior design is as good as anything I have ever seen. I can't wait to see the real thing, Ken.

rumrumm- Thanks, I want to see the real thing

I bolted everything together today. I just have to detail everything, change out bolts, clean everything up, then put it back in the car and hopefully fire it up
