Amazing work, it should be the pace car for the Indy 500! When you first showed the chassis I thought it was an Indy car! Sunny day here today so maybe I can get mine running this summer at least to the hoodless, topless stage?

Cooooooooooool !! How did it feel going down the road? I bet it handles great and those horses have to feel really good when you push it a little. What a sophisticated, complicated little Deuce you have created there Ken..........I love it.

Must have been a banner day - Ken took his to work today and I moved mine under its own power for the first time (even with it puking water from a bad hose connection)

I think "Ol Gray" would be quite pleased with the way your Deuce turned out, Ken.Ken Thomas

Don-Thank you, that would be fun! I hope you do get yours going soon I follow your build and know the effort you have made.
Don- I got to tell you it feels like a slot car. I had no idea, what to expect. I'm taking it easy on her to see if any bugs show up, like the front end falling off or something drastic. But the little bit I have done I really like it. Thank you!
IC2- Congratulations to you Leaky hose, no problem. What a great feeling after all the hours of work.
I know one thing for sure, this thing is really going to be fast. The torque is what is so noticeable. As soon as I'm comfortable I'll chassis dyno it.

Steve- you have to remember i put a lot of hours in on this thing every week and I have help. Yours will be done before you know it.
flipper 1938- I think it will be a little cooler down there instead of sitting on top of the valve covers. Each firewall is insulated also. This is what it looks like with all the sheet metal in place.

Ken my biggest problem is waiting on parts. I wish I lived closer to Classic Performance Parts (actually very close to you) so I could just drive there and get what I need, versus have a two week turn around only to have the wrong part sent! I'm going on three weeks of motor mount shipping and returning problems! Oh well, today we're in Flagstaff enjoying a quite vacation with an Aunt and Uncle here. I didn't realize how low to the ground your roadster is. That picture in front of the shop with you in it gives a great perspective. Must seem like your really flying that close to the ground! When are the disassembly /paint plans? I think it would be hard not to drive it for awhile, before taking it apart again!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Ken, Your build continues to amaze me. The quality and innovation are something you can really be proud of. I bet the feel driving is like the credit card commercial says: "Priceless"
I think it is so bitchin' to see the new technology brought into traditional rod territory.
Love it!
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

What a great look the car has, Ken!!!! Stance and "attitude" really get an A in my book!!! Great innovation everywhere, certainly not just another Deuce roadster!!! The finished product is going to be fantastic!!! Anxious to see it with paint!!!! A real one of a kind hot rod, and thanks so much for sharing all the great build ideas, hope you don't mind some of them being copied!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Steve-If you don't get your parts from them this time send everything to me and I will go over there and get what you need, this is crazy to have to go threw what you are going threw. I'm going to drive it for a while, at least 500 miles. I'm going to take it to the Good Guys show in 2 weeks at Del Mar. Then I probably will take it apart. It will take about 3 months for the paint and upholstery and all the detailing I want to do.
Fatnlo- The grill shell insert is a Dan Fink. I use there stuff on all the stock height cars. great quality.
Pat- Yes, this thing exceeded my expectations, I'm very proud of it. If you rode in it and closed your eyes you would not know it was a '32 roadster. the ride quality is superb. I'm really glad I chose the parts I did.
Dave- That is so nice of you, thank you . Copy away, although I hope you improve on my ideas.
There is something about the paint job that I haven't mentioned, I will show it when we get that far.
I want to thank all of you that have written such nice comments.
