Steve- I have 3 weeks to make my mind up. I'm finishing up the sheet metal in the interior. I have to put some clearance in the license plate so it opens far enough to get fuel in. Turned on the stereo tonightI have to make a Gage panel on the engine, I want to see fuel pressure and oil pressure from the engine compartment. Then I will pull the motor out, and do the mounts for the clutch slave cylinder, duplicate the block plate in stainless steal, paint the scatter shield, and blow the tranny apart and have it polished and clear powder coated replace all the hardware with polished stuff. The tranny is new so I want to do this before I putt any fluid in it for the test drive. Then if every wire in this thing is correct it should start, if it does I will put 200 miles on it and blow it apart. So if it starts with in the next 3 weeks I will enter it in the GNRS. That gives me 6 weeks for paint upholstery and assembly. Now this is where you find out who your friends are, everyone that has helped me says no problem
I cheated on the interior, I just didn't like what I kept coming up with so I hired Steve Stanford to do a rendering on the interior. I just didn't want to leave it up to the upholstery guy, and I kept changing my mind.
I just don't know if this can be done. There is so much to do yet, and I'm tired already. I'm hoping taking the next two days off will re energize me. I sit back and look at this thing and I feel so fortunate to have these problems.
I hope I answered you.
Mike52-You have no idea how all the people on this forum who have made responses makes me work harder. I really want to thank all of you for your nice comments and encouragement.
Don- I know you already bought your 12 volt plugs but I use marine grade electrical parts like this, they are much better, just my 2 cents.
Tasche-I hate you too, now come help me
Ken
