moter-thanks, it's coming together, I hope to drive it sat.
39Deluxe-You are probably right but I hope not.
I Had a set of my motor mounts made out of stainless, then polished them before I welded them together. I use stainless material whenever there are a lot of angels in the parts. I've found if you have them chromed there will be a lot of flashing in the corners and it doesn't look to good. This way the parts come out very clean, you do have to do a Little touch up after welding. the motor is all out back together and ready to start, here are a few shots. the rolled pan is also finished mounted. I have a little more sheet metal work to do on the body line where it meets the frame. that gap will be just like any other gap ON the car.
I was reading J.Robinson's post on his car and he hit the nail on the head, he was talking about doing all this work and at the end of the day didn't look like he got anything done. That's how I feel these daysIt looks funny without a upper radiator hose.

Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
