Just another thought to stir up the pot (just for you Brent ); since we have such a huge slate of "candidates" perhaps we should treat this as a "primary" and take the two top contenders and the "keep what we got" choice and have another round of polling. Hey............it's an election year ain't it?

That's right, we don't want to disenfranchise any of the 100 voters here. Do we have any super delegates?

Denny, could you take post 13, option 2 and add a front-motored digger under it, with the front wheels to the right? Front wheels to the right because the cage would fit better with the script. Maybe even a real early car like the Bustle Bomb or the Bean Bandit car. That austere black and white lettering with a black and white car would be the best it gets in my opinion. I know that's asking a lot from you, but I know you could do it and I can't.
    Thank you very much. Richard.

YEP, dual flatheads gets my vote. The Bustle Bomb looks too much like a current Rat Rod. Thank you very much Denny, I really appreciate it. I owe you one.

About a third of the way down on this page is a photo of the Freight Train with the chute in full blossom.
    Cacklefest - Freight Train AA/GD
That might be pretty cool too. Of course there are thousands of photos of cars that would qualify in my opinion. I just happen to like the earlier diggers. If we got a plurality of votes on the lettering, then maybe we could have a vote on the car used.

I like to throw a monkey wrench into the works any time I can.

one thing for sure, we have some outstanding thinkers here, and some great artists, and some funny guys and gals! I like em all, but most, I like what we got, I guess. So my vote -- #12. Not that I'd be unhappy with any of the others! Tell you what, some of you guys come up to Maine, help me finish our '47 Ford Effie, and then we can take a picture of it to submit!!!!!!! perley

I don't think the contest ends until either June 30th, or there are 500 votes or, Brent's favorite gets out of the cellar and takes a commanding lead.
