trailer out of the paint shop

I picked up the little trailer from the paint shop on Friday. Weather was good enough to get it home without any trouble. It really looks great. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can get the Willys out of storage to see how they look together.

Beautiful and what a great match to the Willy's!! Very nicely done, and who is that painter! He does absolutely outstanding work! Did he do your car also? Very nice, very nice.

Very nice job. The two together will be really something. I see you reinforced the tongue, looks strong and adds some detail also.

That is always the worry isn't it, what we think is cool others might think is comical. I guess as has been said here before we do what we like and hope others appreciate it. This whole project has been a big investment for a guy like me. I have built and sold many cars before at modest return, But this one is different. I hope to enjoy it and then maybe someone else who can afford buy, but who cannot build, will like it enough to want the entire package to enjoy. If not well then....?

Yes, the painter is the same guy that did the car. He is a young guy, one of the best in this area. He has learned his trade well and is excited about being able to apply his art. He is inordinately fussy, almost to the point of being annal, but that is what makes his work both beautiful and expensive.

    Thanks Don,
I took all of the good advise you guys gave and I think the tongue turned out OK. At the very least it is different.. The painter suggested the chrome leg and coupler and he was right that it added a nice touch.
